Syed Shaheen Chishti

Syed Shaheen Chishti is the descendant of the most revered Indian Sufi saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti whose lineage dates back to early 13th century India and is revered by all the religions in India, essentially embodying the statement “Love towards all, malice towards none.”

Born in Ajmer, Rajasthan India, Mr. Chishti was always a curious child and had a passion to learn about Sufism. He did not restrict himself to learning Sufism but continued his studies on Christianity and Judaism. Mr. Chishti has deep knowledge of Bhagvad Geeta, Mahabharata, and Ramayana and is also well read on eminent personalities of India like Mahatma Gandhi and Gautam Buddha. Thus exemplifying a remarkable secular mindset that acts as a beacon for the entire human race.

Being a sound business persona, Mr. Chishti is a deeply spiritual person as well as a staunch proponent of religious harmony.

Mr. Chishti is also an Indian- British author, and a member of the London Literary Society one of his biggest projects has been launching of his book on woman empowerment, “The Granddaughter Project,” a deeply emotional story, poignantly telling the shared experience of three, very different women, who collectively use their voices to improve societal attitudes for their granddaughters. The essence of the book reaches the very soul of the reader.
The book is well received both by Indian and Western readers and intellectuals and members of the House of Lords in London.
