Shaykh Ahmad Tariq Hossanee is born in Mauritius, a small Island in the Indian Ocean. He works as Chief Financial Officer in an International Company. He founded the Khanqah-e-Husseini in Mauritius with his mureeds, friends, family, and loved ones. He does social work and helps people especially youngsters who are drugs addict.
He studied Tassawuf under the guidance of his murshid Shaykh Yusuf Joomun who is the Khalifa and successor of his Father Hazrat Allama Qutub shah Muhammad Ayoub Joomun RA who is the Khalifa of the great Muballigh Hazrat Allama Mawlana Abdul Aleem Siddiqui RA and was awarded Khilafat in Qaderiya, Chishtiya and Aleemiya salasil. He later took talib from the great Rifai shaykh in Hyderabad, India Hazrat Khwaja Sufi Abdul Khader Rifai where he was awarded Khilafat and made janasheen in Silsila Aliya, Rifaiya, Amudiya, Naqshbandiya, Soharwardiya, Abu Lulay Jahangiriya, Chishtiya and Jami salasil.
He also got Khilafat from Hazrat Allama Mawlana Syed Alamgir Ashraf Ashrafi from Darbaar of Shaykh Syed Jahangir Simnani Ashrafi RA. During his journey, he was awarded khilafat by the sajadanasheen of Darbar Aliya Madariya of Khwaja Badiuddin Zinda Shah Madar RA, and later he was awarded Khilafat by the great Sufi scholar a direct descendant and grandson of Sayyedna Imam Hussain AS, Hazrat Peer Syed Mudassir Shah, Sajada Nasheen Darbar e Aliya Saroba Shareef
